About TRIDEC
The history of TRIDEC began in the Netherlands in 1990 and in 2001 was expanded to Portugal.
The parent company, TRIDEC Netherlands "Transport Industry Development Centre, B.V.", was founded with the aim of developing and manufacturing innovative directional systems and suspensions for the transport industry (freight trucks). Since 1993, the company has been actively present at the most important European transport fairs. With accelerated growth, it was decided that TRIDEC had to expand across the border, giving rise to the birth of TRIDEC - Directional Systems for Semi-Trailers, Lda.
In 2008 TRIDEC was acquired by JOST group, thus becoming part of a world leading group in the construction and distribution of truck components.
TRIDEC products fall into a niche market in the transport industry sector, are mainly developed for the special transport segment and stand out for the company's high capacity to adapt them to specific needs of each customer, often becoming unique products.
TRIDEC essentially manufactures two types of products: Directional Systems (mechanical and hydraulic) and special suspensions. Within the directional systems are offered mechanical systems with 1 axis - TD, and between 1 and 3 axes - TR.

Since 1949, Ålö is developing and manufacturing high quality front loaders and implements under the brand Quicke. The innovator Quicke has been known to be one of the driving forces in modernizing and digitalizing the agricultural business. Quicke is still continuing the journey towards being a complete manufacturer of front loaders and associated implements – with its philosophy letting customers “work smarter, not harder”. Ålö is part of JOST since 2020.

Production and Planning
Our success is based on our safe, high quality and reliable products. In its production we lay the groundwork for this success: whether you are a machine operator, welder, or CNC machine operator - we offer you a wide range of job opportunities. Planning and production go hand in hand so that the final result is achieved according to the plan.
Process Engineering
Our engineering team, made up of product and process engineers, works to obtain innovative products that meet the needs of our customers. This team studies the production activities and prepares proposals for improvements in processes, equipment, devices and methods, as well as the correction of manufacturing times of product components.
Sales and Marketing
Our products need to be marketed and distributed. The sales department takes care of our global customers by phone or locally, while the marketing department helps to present the products in the best possible way and prepare the information requested by our customers. Since we produce to ship to our mother house in the Netherlands, in Portugal we have no Sales department, and these services are centralized in TRIDEC BV.
Purchase
To sell our products in the most economical way possible, we try to acquire the necessary raw materials, auxiliary materials and operating materials as cheaply as possible while maintaining a high quality. As a purchasing contributor, you will be an important part of the value chain and you must ensure that there is always enough material available.
Logistics
The satisfaction of our customers is crucial to our success. From the forklift driver to the employees in order processing and production control, our logistics team ensures that the desired product is available to our customers on schedule – often just-in-time.
Finance & Controlling
This increasingly complex world needs people who see the bigger picture. We count on committed personalities with an affinity for numbers and excellent analytical skills. The monitoring of our customer and creditor invoices is just as important as the number-based analysis and control of our parent company and its subsidiaries.
IT
Digitalisation is progressing noticeably and is impacting our daily work. Information and communication technology makes our day-to-day work easier and enables the securing and further development of production and business processes through ERP systems. But the processes are only as good as the clever minds behind them. We need IT specialists in a variety of fields at JOST.
Quality
All processes and procedures are monitored worldwide by Quality Management. This ensures that we do justice to our certifications and our customers’ expectations. Of course, product quality also plays an important role and employees in the Quality Assurance department pay particular attention to this. Our purchased parts and our own products are extensively tested and measures for the prevention of errors are derived.
